Wedding Photobook

Image
Our 100-page 8.5 x 11” hardcover Photobook finally arrived. I was able to put in all of our wedding photos (the photobook has 100 pages!). I think it’s cheaper compared to having all the photos printed and buying a photo album. The paper and the photo quality are great. It was easy and fun to layout. I just dropped the photos I want to include for each page, then picked from their suggested layouts. You can also manually layout if you have the skill and the time.

Wedding Photos

Our photographer just turned over all the edited photos from the wedding day. We are very grateful to our parents, our ninongs and ninangs, the bridesmaids and groomsmen, family, and friends who virtually and physically celebrated the day with us. To those who attended, thank you for being there considering it was at the height of the Omicron surge. Thank you for your generous gifts and warm wishes. We are forever grateful. My walk down the aisle

The weather was perfect, the church was just so beautiful, the flowers were exquisite, and the musicians were playing the musical score from my all-time favorite film (Love Theme from Cinema Paradiso) perfectly. I couldn't stop myself from crying when I saw my parents. When we reached the altar, Eric was looking at me and holding my hand even more lovingly than he normally does. My bridal march was as magical as I imagined it would be.

Photos from our Wedding Day

We have been planning our wedding since October last year. It was supposed to be a church wedding, and we wanted to celebrate it with 150 of our closest family and friends. Of course the pandemic made large gatherings impossible, so we decided to postpone our church wedding until next year, and just have a civil wedding ceremony close to our original wedding date. Planning a wedding in the midst of a pandemic is truly challenging: It was risky to get a professional to do your hair and makeup, so my mom and sister did my makeup. We couldn’t book hotel rooms to use as our wedding preparations venue, so we did our wedding preps photo shoot at my fiancé-now-husband’s house (which is now our family home). It was not safe to go out to buy wedding dress and shoes, so I shopped for mine online. Our first civil wedding date (August 5) was even cancelled because Metro Manila was suddenly put under the stricter Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ). The moment MECQ was lifted, we contacte...

Our Pre-wedding Photos

Just sharing some of the prenup photos taken by Picava Studios. My fiancé really really hates having his photos taken, and he just agreed to this prenup shoot because I want to have prenup photos. Despite his dislike for posing for pictures, Picava's output was still amazing. Their team made us feel comfortable and relaxed. My fiancé and I are into books, graphic novels, and music. Picava's team incorporated all of this in our photo shoot, and transformed a simple hotel room into a nook that featured our hobbies.
