The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

Image
F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novella is a sad, reflective, glamorous, and alcohol-drenched story of one great and unobtainable love. Rating: 5/5

Cafe Agusta

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

Image
Entertainment Weekly said Tomi Adeyemi's Children of Blood and Bone is the next Harry Potter. Well, honestly, it doesn't hold a candle to Harry Potter. However, this book has masterful world-building, a beautiful love story that kinda reminds you of Rey and Kylo Ren's, and a very meaningful, relevant, and political message about racism and genocide. Oh, and the plot twists and cliffhanger at the end are all totally unexpected. I think this book would make an awesome adventure/fantasy movie. Rating: 3.5/5
